Local media
LocalStream works with videos stored on your computer, external drives, or selected local storage. LocalStream does not upload those videos.
Local organisation data
Library information such as tags, playlists, custom titles, cover art, favourites, and watch status is stored locally with the desktop application.
No server setup
You do not need to configure a home media server to use LocalStream. The product is focused on a private desktop library experience.
Support reports
If you contact support, only include diagnostic details you are comfortable sharing. The support page prepares reports locally and does not send them to an external service.
